Béla Vér
Chief Executive Officer
Béla first founded the company with his former business partner, Krisztián Pálmai in 1998 out of a passion to provide technology software solutions to make banks and financial institutions to run with greater efficiency and grow quicker. Prior to this, Béla was an IT engineer for Inter-Európa Bank before moving to a global core banking vendor.
Since then, with a deep knowledge of how banks work and their technology challenges, Béla has been developing and implementing digital lending solutions in the cloud to help traditional banks stay competitive and support neobank innovation.
Béla holds an engineering degree from the Óbuda University, a top technical university in Hungary, and an MBA from Corvinus University of Budapest. Béla’s sporting passion is fencing and is a former Hungarian fencing champion.

He is married, father of 2 children.

Tamás Babér
Chief Operation Officer
Tamás is the Chief Operation Officer of ApPello. He joined the company in 2000, prior to this, Tamás was a mid-manager at various companies at the Industrial sector.
Since then, with a deep knowledge of programming, banking and their technology challenges, Tamás has been managing the development support and implementation of digital lending ApPello solutions at various Banks.
Tamás holds an engineering degree from the Budapest University Technology and Economics. Tamás’ sporting passion is swimming and he is a huge fan of BMW oldtimers.
He is married.

András Romhányi
Head of Development
András is the Head of IT Development at ApPello.
He started his career as Java developer. In the past 15 years András gained experience in several technical roles: as lead developer, java team lead and also as an IT architect.
He joined ApPello in 2011 and played key role in several business application development and also participated in many crucial product deliveries in CEE region.
He is passionate about fishing and hiking.
He is married and father of 2 sons.
András Romhányi is member of ApPello Team since 2011.
Ferenc Kustos
Sales Director
Ferenc returned to the company in 2020 as Sales Director after working at ApPello as Sales and Marketing Director from 2013 to 2015.
He filled the roles of CEO and Sales Director of various software and hardware companies. Ferenc is enthusiastic about building productive, win-win business partnerships with customers and implementation partners around the world, deeply interested in getting to know their cultures with maximum respect.
Ferenc developed a strong understanding of Solution selling and Banking, though he holds a Master’s degree in biology from the Eötvös Lóránd University.
His nickname is Feri, and is passionate at choir singing and amateur astronomy.
He is married, father of 2 daughters.
Ferenc Kustos is member of ApPello Team since 2020.
János Szilágyi
Head of Project Management Office
János is the Head of Project Management Office at ApPello.
He is working as Project Manager for more than 10 years and set up a proven record in implementation projects on Client and Vendor side as well. He joined ApPello in 2015, and he managed implementation of various ApPello products and custom developments in the CEE region especially in Collateral, Valuator and Trade Finance business domains. Besides his project activities he is leading the Project Management Office and built up a dedicated team of Project Managers.
János has experience in several methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid), and he is a PMP (PMI) certified project manager.
He is passionate of kettlebell sport, making sourdough bread and hiking.
János is married and father of 3 children.

Viktor Nyitrai
Head of Business Analysis
Viktor is the Head of Business Analysis at ApPello.
He has been working as an IT Business Analyst for 17 years. During this period, he has gained experience in software implementation across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, travel, and banking.
He joined ApPello in 2014, and since then, he has managed the introduction of various ApPello products and custom developments, primarily in the domains of Collateral, Loan Origination, Loan Management, and Account Management. In addition to his project activities, he participated in building a dedicated team of analysts and has been actively involved in presales activities. He has also gained experience in product development.
Viktor graduated as an Economist from the University of Pécs in 2005. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, running,
and spending time with his loved ones. He is married and the father of a son.
Alexandra Németh-Halász
Head of Testing
Alexandra is the Head of Testing at ApPello.
Alexandra has accumulated nine years of experience as a tester, specializing in both manual and automated testing. Her expertise extends to group coordination and leading test initiatives. Since joining ApPello, Alexandra has taken on a dual role, performing hands-on testing for various projects and leading the test team.
She holds an engineering degree from the University of Pannon. Outside of work, Alexandra is a professional dog trainer.
She is also married.
Alexandra has been a member of the ApPello team since 2019.
